Dog Training: How to train a Vizsla to Come, Sit, Heel, Loose Leash Walking with Distractions

In this video, meet Casey an 9-month-old Vizsla with no prior obedience training has completed her Sit Up N Listen’s 14-day Ride & Train Program. A follow-up lesson is highlighted in this video as Casey’s owner walks her around the neighborhood evaluating her distraction training skills and in-home doorbell focus by utilizing her “place” boundary training command.

Vizsla’s are a high-energy, very intelligent and a sensitive breed; thus, finding the right mix of obedience training tools is very important. Reward-based training and a SportDog remote training system is being used.

Sit Up N Listen includes daily video services for all their Ride & Train and Board & Train customers. Casey in this video has completed the 14-Day Ride & Train Program which includes: recall (come), sit, heel, wait, off, sit, quiet, down, free (release command).
