I was called to a local animal shelter to work with a dog that was scheduled to be killed, the current volunteers and trainer could not handle the dog and considered the dog dangerous and wanted the dog killed. I found it to be an out of control dog that has always gotten its way and had zero respect for people. it had been living in the shelter for a while and within a few short minutes I had the dog in a calm and obedient state of mind, I consider this dog quite an easy dog to work with, a huge contradiction to what previous trainers have said. Within minutes I was able to get the dog to a calm state and focus on me and the work at hand. ran the dog through basic calming exercises as well as leash protocols. I am not sure what the fate of the dog will be, but for the record I consider this dog a easy dog to train and rehab.
